All Right Now Class, Take Out Your Pencils
Last weekend we finally got around to seeing "Persepolis", a much-loved French film out last year. It's based on the true-story graphic novel of a woman who grew up during the violent revolutions of the 80's and 90's in Iran. But it's in French. And it's a cartoon. In black and white. Weird, right? But SO GOOD! It made subject matter that is very complicated and overwhelming really accessible. And it gave a surprising amount of tit tips.
Little Marjane asks her grandmother why, at her age, were her boobs still so round and nice. Her grandmother replied, "I soak them in bowls of ice water for ten minutes every day."
Eesh! And during a party, some of the chatter included this proposition, "If you slip a pencil under your boobs and it drops out, you have nice ones. If it stays, they're crap."
I know what you're thinking. I have NOT tried that! Yet. But I have kinda big ones. I think I should be allowed to use a Sharpie. To make it more fair.
